  13. Tonight (Monday, December 28th), Margaret Davis and Kristoph Klover
  14. will perform Celtic and acoustic music at St. Michael's Alley, at
  15. Emerson and Homer in Palo Alto. The music starts at 8, and I'll be
  16. accompanying some of the songs in the second set on bass and synths.

  18. St. Michaels' booking person is an unabashed fan of C&W and bluegrass,
  19. and has mostly scheduled other genres for Monday and Tuesday nights --
  20. the slowest nights of the week. Since the owners have decreed that
  21. acts get booking preference according to how much food and drink are
  22. sold when they perform, this means it's especially important to COME
  23. AND BUY BEER (or at least coffee) when Celtic and filk performers show
  24. up! So c'mon down, help support the cause, and listen to some good music.
