  33. This was originally recommended by Meg Garrett of the LA Filkharmonics and
  34. also librarian at UC Riverside in California.  Jane Mailander brought her copy 
  35. to the December filk party & I got to scan the filk chapter briefly.  It's
  36. *very* good, well researched & written.  Highly recommended for all libraries.

  38. Also recommended is the book _FutureSpeak: A Fan's Guide to the Language of
  39. Science Fiction_ by Roberta Rogow.  She has several entries for filk &
  40. filking, also lyrics to _Hope Eyrie_ & _Banned From Argo_, plus the Filker's
  41. R&R's by yours truly.  While the filk entries are very descriptive & good,
  42. they do tend to have an East Coast bias and seem to be rather dated.  Again a 
  43. must for the fannish reference library.
