- Sorry to respond here -- I tried e-mail but got bounced.
-
- My "desert island disc" choice among all the Clannad albums would have
- to be "Fuaim." I haven't actually seen a CD of this (I bought the
- vinyl edition Way Back When), but I would be stunned if it were not
- available.
-
- It's tough for me to rank the rest of their work; I guess I'd group
- them thus:
-
- 1. Fuaim
-
- 2. Cran Ull (beautiful, but so short!)
- Anam
- Clannad in Concert
-
- 3. Dulamann
- Clannad 2
-
- 4. Magical Ring
- Macalla
- Sirius
-
- Please also consider Maire Brennan's exquisite solo debut, "Maire,"
- which I rank right up there with "Fuaim."
-
- You might get the "PastPresent" collection -- but why get him
- something that might demotivate hime from getting the rest of their
- wonderful music?
