- Speaking of the Poppies, I was very disappointed by their latest album.
- I liked _This Is The Day, This Is The Hour, This Is This!_ very much
- because it has a lot of energy but is still catchy, because of the
- darkly amusing lyrics, because of the interesting noise and the layering
- of effects and samples continually in the background.. (which isn't a
- very good description if you haven't heard them before, but will suffice
- if you have). _Cure For Sanity_ was good, but too tame and not as
- complicated... _The Looks Or The Lifestyle_ is, at least from the first
- couple of listenings, just boring rap over pure pop music... though that
- "power exists in everyone!" sample they use in Karmadrone is funny as
- hell, at least to me...
-
- End of warning, beginning of question: Would I like _Go Box Frenzy!_ or
- other earlier stuff? How does it compare to these three albums? And
- is any of it available domestically in the US?
