  13.      As far as I know, the Pixies are on hold, but have not broken
  14. up.  The last I've heard, Black Francis was recording a solo LP in a Los
  15. Angeles studio called Contol.  Supposedly, the album will feature 
  16. only cover songs.  The Breeders are still playing out, but are due with
  17. a new album this Spring on Elektra.
