- There is an XTC mailing list for discussion of all things related to

- About Nonsvch... It's a pretty good album, not as coherent as
- Skylarking but it has better sound, harder edges, and some really good
- songs. Skylarking is a better all-round album, telling a story of
- either a day or a life, but Nonsvch sounds better and has more varied
- themes, and a more varied sound. Also, Todd Rundgren's theme for
- Skylarking basically omitted any political songs from the album,
- whilst Nonsvch has a few 'political' songs.
-
- My faves: "Wrapped in Grey", "Then She Appeared", "That Wave". "That
- Wave" especially is a sonic feast. Heavily psychadelic, like The
- Dukes of Stratosphear (XTC in the skies, er, disguise), it sports
- great production, interesting lyrics, and a killer guitar solo.
-
- Listen to it in headphones.
