- -> I have recently discovered the Cocteau Twins (how do you pronounce
- -> that,
- -> btw? I always use a long 'o'.) They are too cool and I've got
- -> copies of all of their albumns, although I haven't heard them all.
- -> What I'm looking for are similar sounds. I especially like the
- -> lilting, ethereal-type stuff that seems to be typical of the CT's
- -> later stuff. I'm also partial to the feminine voice. Other similar
- -> type stuff I listen to is The Sunday's (not exactly similar, but I'm
- -> giving the range I'm looking for), some This Mortal Coil, the Heart
- -> Throbs... Any ideas? I've been thinking maybe some Enya, but I'm
- -> too poor to get anything without some
- -> confirmation from outsiders or a good listening session (which I
- -> haven't gotten from Enya).

- You might check out the band Lush. They are mostly produced by Robin
- Guthrie of the Cocteau (cock-toe) Twins. As a result, they sound like
- the Twins but with more guitar and drums. Not as etherial as the Twins,
- but still quite good.
