- Ever salute an enlisted man? Myself as a mere E-4 get saluted in general
- about once a week. I'm an enlisted aircrewman so if I am in my flightsuit
- there is no telling me from an officer except by looking at my name tag which
- is 4x2 and trying to read my rank or by looking at my ballcap which has the
- insignia of a Third Class Petty Officer(which I am). But I am also on a
- semi training base so we get new people straight out of basic or tech school
- to go through platform training all the time and they salute the flightsuit
- more than the rank. They dont realize I am enlisted. Ahh the life...(not that
- I would ever return a salute mind you).
