  22. Certainly the Innsmouth, England, is solidly established.  But this is the
  23. first I've heard of Kuranes's copy also being called "Innsmouth".

  25. From my reading of DREAM-QUEST, I understood the copy to be of Kuranes's
  26. ancestral home (Trevor Towers) and surrounding village (which would be
  27. Innsmouth), but this was all part of Celephais and not a separate village in
  28. the Dreamlands.

  30. Which village might have been the prototype?  Certainly not Goole, which is in
  31. the north-east.  I don't know that HPL expressed an interest in *any* Cornish
  32. fishing village.  However, it is significant that Kuranes lost his ancestral
  33. home to "a fat, millionaire brewer"---a situation similar to the Lovecraft
  34. having to move out of *his* ancestral home in Providence after the death of his
  35. grandfather.  By that reasoning, the prototype for Kuranes's "Innsmouth" may
  36. have been Providence, RI!
