- Diluted window cleaner seems to work OK!! Somebody mentioned that EVH
- boils his strings. I've also heard that John McLaughlin does the same
- (but with nylon classical guitar strings). Overall cleanliness is your
- best bet. Wash your hands before playing. Wash/wipe your strings after
- playing. Also, keep your fingerboard and frets clean. Strings get dirty
- on the bottom too. Boiling strings seems perverse, but if you do it,
- let everyone know if it works!!!
