- As far as I'm concerned, the main benefit to "channel-jumping" my
- old Marshall is that I can balance the volume of channel I (bright channel)
- with volume of channel II (normal channel) and get a lot more
- control over the tone (since channel II is so bassy), compared to
- just using the tone controls.
