  15. Go an get some T-Bone Walker recordings.  He was one of 
  16. the first to merge blues into City Jazz and one of the best.
  17. I'd also suggest some Count Basie, Duke Ellington recordings
  18. there are some great guitar players on most of their stuff.

  20. For contemporary recordings, try Duke Robillard's Swing album.
