- You mean to say that NO ONE has been shot during a heated game of
- Super Mario Bros.?
-
- In a sick way, the various reasons people get shot are amusing in their
- trivialness. Highway shootings, jealous spouses, drug disputes,
- SF games, and the like all seem to be rather trivial reasons considering
- that people in Somalia are shooting each other so that they can eat and
- live to see the next day. Shows just how decadent our society is.
- Think how long it could be before Somalis can shoot each other over
- a heated SF game, or even a nasty highway cut-off.
-
- The best shooting I heard about is about a suburban mother who took
- a 'contract' out on the mother of one of her daughter's friends.
- Why? Well, her daughter didn't make the cheerleading team and the
- other girl did, of course.
-
- I wonder if I'll see the day when someone gets shot because they
- flamed someone over Internet... That'll be the day!
