  13. Speaking of Time magazine and political correctness, a couple of weeks
  14. ago Time published a sneering column about a university drama department
  15. that had put on a version of Brecht's "The Good Woman of Szechuan"
  16. entitled "The Good PERSON of Szechuan".  It then went on to make PC
  17. titles out of all sorts of literary works such as "Person and Super-
  18. person, by G. B. Shaw" etc. etc.

  20. Unfortunately for Time, the play's director may not have been being
  21. PC, just literal.  The title of Brecht's play in the original is
  22. "Der gute Mensch von Sezuan".  Now, boys and girls, get out your
  23. German dictionaries and tell me what "Mensch" means....
