  18. The News and Observer of Raleigh, N.C., recently ran a story about the
  19. racist incidents in Germany which referred to "the Kristallnacht program."
  20. Apparently some idiot with a spelling checker but without any knowledge
  21. of history had fixed the word which had unaccountably been corrupted
  22. to "p-o-g-r-o-m" in transmission.
