  25.   While we're on the subject, is this business about "wasting net bandwidth"
  26. an UL in itself,anymore?  Is there someone who can document that somehow AFU
  27. (or any other) postings are preventing "real and serious" work from getting
  28. done?  (I'm talking about the net in general, not isolated, specific sites
  29. using 300/1200 baud modems for connectivity.)  Though many would disagree,
  30. getting 99% or 80% or 40% or even 20% of every available newgroup is
  31. probably overkill, which means that a lot of groups would/could be done
  32. without, without missing the benefits of truely useful (to work, study,
  33. whatever) posts.
