  25. sum-         The amount obtained as a result of adding.
  26. product-     The amount obtained as a result of multiplication.

  28. This confusion brings to mind the problem of "by" and "into",
  29. which, depending on the origin of the speaker, could each mean
  30. either multiplied by or divided by.  Indians (Dravidic) always
  31. seem to use the two in opposite sense to Americans.
