  31. Funny, I attended a lecture about 3 years ago on just
  32. this subject matter. The lecturer (C. Penley) showed
  33. us a video someone had made consisting of clips of
  34. Kirk & Spock staring longingly at each other, "romantic"
  35. music (aka MOR) playing in the background. It was 
  36. pretty amusing. Apparently this ("Slash") literature
  37. is quite common. I think i still have a few of
  38. the handouts from the lecture -- descriptions
  39. of various Spock & Kirk stories, as well as drawings
  40. of Kirk & Spock lazing around naked...
