  25. Are you sure it's not the Loupe?  I distinctly remember being told
  26. this by a taxi driver while taking me to O'Hare Airport.  For those of
  27. you who don't know the O' is an abbreviation for Old.  Before they
  28. built the airport there was a small lake where people liked to go
  29. fishing.  Unfortunately there was also a crazed hare (rabbit) who
  30. liked to attack fishing boats (His cousin was the one who attacked
  31. Jimmy Carter (I'm not making this up!)).  The locals would warn
  32. propsective fisherman: "Watch out for the Old Hare", some would refer
  33. to his odd fur color: "Watch out for the crazy Old Red Hare".  Finally
  34. some one hit the old red hare on the head with a paddle and killed
  35. him.  In honor of his death they gave the initials ORD to O'Hare
  36. airport.  They stand for Old Red (Hare) Dead (unfortunately ORHD was
  37. already taken).
