  12. Whilst scanning the latest edition of the FAQ I came across

  14. T.  Dick Joltes used to be an arms dealer.

  16. I wish to make it known that I have never dealt in the purchase, resale, or
  17. trading of human appendages of any sort, including arms, legs, or the ever-
  18. popular Naughty Bits.  While it is true that I've occasionally handled the
  19. transfer of the limbs of certain woody plants from the "vendor" (i.e. "tree")
  20. to my fireplace, there...hmmm...(thinking about various meanings of the word
  21. "arms")...ahhh, well.

  23. Okay, so I *was* an arms dealer.  But I've never met Adenung Keshogi (sp?)
  24. and those shots of me with Mr. Afafat were obviously faked.  So there.  I
  25. doubt very seriously that either would make the trek to West Virginia to
  26. discuss the sale of antiquated double-barrel shotguns anyway...

  28. And I hearby eat my assertion that the GyroJet was ever an accurate missile
  29. launcher of any sort and pledge to check my sometimes-faulty core memory
  30. (sans diodes!) before posting such errata.  Okay, one lousy mistake out of
  31. hundreds of postings, furrfu!  Well, maybe two.

  34. choice" to all the denizens of AFU.  May your Shergoldometers peak repeatedly
  35. as your eggnog-sodden relatives relate their latest ULs...
