- It's more likely that the student misunderstood the teacher, and the
- parent misunderstood the child. The parent might have also just been
- outraged that the teacher DARED to mention that there were gays in the
- world; sadly, that strikes me as more likely that a teacher not
- knowning the difference between "sex" and "sexual orientation."
