- Haven't read TMP, but all US $1 currency (and other denominations)
- has a letter and numbers sprinkled around the front side as an
- alleged deterrent to counterfeiters (real successful, since we all know
- about it). Example above: "k" is the 11th letter in the alphabet. The
- only remaining money in my wallet is a dollar bill with "F" and "6."

- I've heard this for years and have found no counter-example. The
- Numbers/letters may or may not correspond to particular regional Federal
- Reserve Banks. I bet the Fed or the Treasury Dept. would explain if
- anyone cared enough to call.
