- Since I do not nor have ever gone to MIT (although I did get toasted
- in with some MIT hoty once,) I can't state who did the study or when, but
- I am sure an MIT person can. The study is that someone with a shitload of
- time to waste used a very involved mathematical model based on differentials
- and statistics of various rain-storms around the U.S. to discover that you
- will most often stay dryest in rain not by walking or running, but by
- walking quickly. I'm sure the guy who did the study probably never got laid
- and assumed that people who stay 15% dryer would actually notice the
- difference.
