  11. Hi.. about the Proctor Valley Ghost...

  13. Well, I am Lewis's 17-year-old daughter and I have heard stories, tales,
  14. rumors, etc. about this Proctor Valley ghost.  Many of my teenage friends
  15. have either gone to this valley or heard these stories.  I'm always
  16. talking about going there myself but I haven't gone yet.

  18. A bunch of college guys I know did drive through Proctor Valley.  They said
  19. they followed a long (dirt?  I can't remember) and dark road.  The only light
  20. was from their headlights.  They reached the end of the road and saw a 
  21. tree;  underneath they say they saw a lady dressed in white.  I can't quite
  22. remember the details.

  24. One tale I've heard is that cars will sometimes encounter this lady in
  25. white standing in the middle of the road.  If you don't stop to let her in,
  26. you will never return.

  28. Another bunch of guys I know began their drive down the dark road, but say
  29. that they were afraid the car wouldn't make it back (junk car) so they
  30. turned back.

  32. I remain skeptical about all of this.  I'll have to ask these friends
  33. about the details again sometime because I have a terrible memory.
  34. These are just rumors that I've heard.  One day I'll have to make that
  35. drive into Proctor Valley myself to see what happens.  :)
