  17. Galadriel was banned from Valinor because she along with Feanor and his sons
  18. was a leader in the Noldor 'rebellion' after Morgoth stole the jewels and
  19. killed Finwe.

  21. I don't remember anything about her refusal of the One Ring being rewarded
  22. by ending the ban.  It seemed to me that once Sauron was destroyed all the
  23. noldor were allowed to return to Aman.  Certainly if she had not refused 
  24. the ring Sauron would not have been destroyed or even defeated and Galadriel
  25. would have played avery different role in the war.
