Hmmm, I thought I read somewhere (probably in TCOM or TLF) that each season
occurs twice on the DiscWorld because of the hideously complicated orbit of the
sun around the disc and the rotation of the disc. (Of course I may be wrong,
it's at least 3 weeks since I last read either of them - I've been too busy
with my copy of L&L 8-) )
