- Something I've thought that the chowderheads at NBC might do is drop TTS
- to their 10:00 slot and move LNwDL to 11:30. The reason being that TTS is
- cheap as hell to produce and NBC (via the execs at GE) has been downsizing
- everything to obscurity. Most of the stuff that Leno and Dave pull are
- WAY WAY less offensive than the stuff on late prime time. No violence
- (except for the occasional motorized hibatchi or crushed smurf), little
- sex (only inferred or refered to). Perfect fare for these overly moral
- times. Maybe get a Tu-F TTS leaving Monday open for their Movie of the
- Week. It's not really a viable or even an attractive solution, but what
- can you expect from a group of idiots who threw away Saturday morning
- cartoons because they didn't think they were profitable enough. (And thus
- gave up the children's market to Fox, CBS, and ABC).
-
- Maybe their slogan should be "NBC-our panicked desparation is showing!"
-
- Oh, and as a final remark, IMVHO NE is losing its touch. It was fun when
- some of the characters were a little funky and it was only slightly preachy.
- Now every time the DJ, Chris, starts ranting I start to gag and begin to
- wonder if the football game is over on ABC (hmmm.. it isn't! <Click>!)
- Send all flames for this one comment to me via email. I don't want a Rush
- of rash postings about NE....
