  33. Waitaminit.  Why would the time of the local news have to change?

  35. As you report, they'd be making Dave the host of the Tonight show.  I'd 
  36. assume that Dave would be able to take Paul & his band along, either 
  37. because that's what they'd let him do, or by his demands.  I think NBC is 
  38. in a position that Dave has the upper hand and can really turn the screws 
  39. to NBC.

  49. Ok, next question:  If NBC did give Dave the Tonight Show, who would 
  50. follow @ 12:30?  Dana Carvey?  Leno?  (Hope not - he'd be dead ratings-wise).  
  51. Not because he's not good.  I think he's alright.  But the Tonight show crowd 
  52. (at least when Carson was host) probably won't stay up until 12:30 to 
  53. watch Leno, especially if he's not that good like people are saying.
