  14. I think I've solved NBC's problem if Dave leaves to go to
  15. CBS.  I, like many other writers, am concerned that we'll 
  16. lose access to Meg once she's no longer a zoom lens away from
  17. LNWDL; therefore, NBC, realizing Meg's popularity should 
  18. make her the host of the successor show to LNWDL.  She could
  19. run it from her desk over at Pocket Books and have the band
  20. and the guests and some Ed McMahon/Regis Philbin/etc. flunky
  21. on the set.

  23. Actually they could keep running the show with total pandemonium
  24. kinda' like now with people wandering in and actually staying awhile
  25. sort of like drop in hosts (time for the Live at Five people to
  26. retaliate; give Tony Randall the chance to actually appear on the
  27. show after all those lame attempts to be invited as a guest,
  28. have Larry Bud night, etc.)
