- Last week at the zoo I saw one of the black lemurs doing backflips on a limb.
- I mean he would do five or six without stopping, then he would look around and
- would do another series of backflips. It was really something to see - he
- reminded me of those Polish springboard artists in the circus. They were
- absolutely perfect backflips. Since we are taught to study animal behaviour
- and because he did such perfect backflips, I watched this lemur for quite a
- while - I was spellbound. But I could not come up with any reasonable
- explanation for this behaviour.

- limb - or even on the ground for that matter.
