- If you still have the Apple II, a program called Crossworks
- from SoftSpoken of Raliegh, NC, 919-870-5694 will do the job
- nicely. The package consists of a cable, and programs that
- run on a PC and the Apple II using the serial ports to
- transfer the files.
-
-
- If anybody has a few files to convert, I have a setup and
- the program that I would be willing to do a FEW files for
- some one.
-
- In addition to ASCII files, the program will handle smartly
- Appleworks, and WordPerfect files smartly.
-
- The program cost less than $100 if you have a big use for it.
-
- If you need to convert CPM Apple II files, I have a program
- and procedure call CPMXFER that runs on the Apple II which
- will convert from CPM to DOS. From there the rest is easy.
-
- If you have 3 1/2" PRODOS disks a program that runs on the
- MAC will convert Appleworks files to the MAC.
-
- By the way, I only have 5 1/4" drives on the Apple II that
- I have.
