- It's hard to tell. There's a line about Mother needing something to
- calm her down. But also, "gets her on her way, helps her through her
- busy day."

- I think Valium would have been out by that time, but Abbott did have
- little yellow Desoxyn pills (methamphetamine (15mg!) but I think they
- were a type of timed-release). Smith-Kline-French had a nice selection
- of capsule amphetamines.
