  31. Quite true, though I'd say that a simple, one-dimensional "left-right"
  32. probably isn't enough (Where do the Libertarians fit?  A wheat farmer
  33. favoring price supports (i.e., gov't intervention) and "family
  34. values"?  The New Paradigmists?).  Not to mention defining what "left"
  35. and "right" actually mean for each issue (Where does censorship of
  36. pornography lie, for instance?  Some feminists will ally with "family
  37. value" conservatives.).
