  16. I don't read a.c.k. and was informed by somebody that my name is
  17. being dragged through a.c.k. and I should look there. And I see
  18. now what is happening.

  20. A few points :

  22. 1. Hindu-Digest is not authored by me.
  23. 2. Hindu-Digest is edited by a group of 5-6 different people, taking
  24.    turns. 
  25. 3. My machine, which my univ has named rbhatnagar despite my not liking 
  26.    sharing my name with a machine, has an account named editor at which
  27.    the edited copy of the Hindu Digest arrives and is then sent to all
  28.    those people/addresses that are maintained in a listserver at a node
  29.    in Arizona. (BTW, I am in Ohio)
  30. 4. And all correspondence that has been exchanged with the account on
  31.    machine named rbhatnagar has not been exchanged with me, but with
  32.    some other editor of the digest.

  34. I hope it clarifies some things.

  36. Now, I think it is motivated by personal biases of some that they 
  37. express such strong disagreement with the views of Dr. Kak and also 
  38. with the title Hindu Digest no matter what may be contained in it.

  40. Dr. Kak's article represented his views and any views are
  41. "propaganda" for those who disagree with those views. Is it right
  42. to stop all the dissenting view from appearing? I don't think so.
  43. But if seeing Dr Kak's article or HIndu Digest on a.c.k. makes the 
  44. days worthless and nights sleepless fro many ack readers then I will
  45. talk to the Digest editors about it's appearance on ack whenever I next
  46. communicate with them.
