- Consider this - during Deckard's "re-recruitment" meeting with Bryant,
- Gaff is doing some of his origami, presumably a unicorn. The unicorn
- at the ending could have been nothing more than his own personal
- version of "I was here, and I let her live". In my opinion, Gaff is
- a failed bladerunner - he doesn't have what it takes to do the job,
- Q.E.D. Holden is disabled by Leon, and Bryant goes to Deckard,
- bypassing Gaff.
