  14. If you haven't yet read L. Fletcher Prouty's "JFK. The CIA, Vietnam
  15. And The Plot To Assassinate John F. Kennedy", then add it to your
  16. 'must read' list.  In real life Prouty is a former high-level military-
  17. CIA operative who was the character named "X" in Oliver Stone's
  18. momentous movie JFK.

  20. Prouty's book is not another rehash of the details of the JFK assassination
  21. about which so many volumes have already been written.  It is much
  22. more.  Prouty begins with events in 1943 and paints an intricate
  23. and disturbing picture of the web of intrigue that has befallen our
  24. nation at the hands of the 'high cabal'.  He painstakingly develops
  25. the evidence to show the manipulation of the US populace as we were
  26. drawn into the Vietnam war.  His central theme remains the motive
  27. behind the JFK assassination.
