  13.     I'm from Singapore. At a recent computer fair, I came across a
  14. certain card known as the "Chinese Star". It costs S$545 (the current
  15. exchange rate of S$ is 1 sterling pound to about S$2.60). With this
  16. card, I was told, you will be able to type Chinese words on programmes
  17. like MS Word and MS Excel. Unfortunately, you need to have a good
  18. command of the Hanyu Pinyin in order to be able to use the programme.
  19. This is because while using this programme, you first type the Hanyu
  20. Pinyin of the word you want and a list of words with the particular
  21. Hanyu Pinyin will appear for you to choose.
  22.     I'm sorry to be unable to tell you which company produced it
  23. because the price was beyond my budget. Perhaps you can ask those who
  24. are more familiar with new products.
