- The current world (Western) Chess Champion (Womens) is a woman from
- China named Xie Jun. My wife is from Taiwan, and has never heard
- of her. I am a big Chess Fan (western chess) and was wondering
- if anyone in this group has heard of Xie Jun, or knows where
- she came from etc. If possible could someone post her name
- to this conference in Chinese, since I can read Chinese text
- using chirk, so I can show my wife what her name is in Chinese.
- The romanization Xie Jun sounds strange to my wife, I was wondering
- what the womans name looks like, written with Chinese Characters.
-
- Yes, Xie Jun is the womans world Western Chess Champion, I am
- not speaking about Chinese Chess.
