  15. Since I am learning Chinese I have been looking for software that
  16. would help the learning of Chinese characters and words. 
  17. Before I start making something, I would love to hear if someone has
  18. seen anything, either running under Unix or MS-DOS, also commercial
  19. stuff.

  21. I feel it would be fairly easy to make a simple tool to quiz me about
  22. single characters based on the available freeware and, say, Emacs
  23. Lisp.  For example, by maintaining a score hit statistics file I could
  24. concentrate on those characters (and later: multicharacter words) that
  25. cause the most trouble.
