- I speak from a strictly goyish understanding of kashrut, but I'll
- pipe up anyway. Leaving aside kosher-for-Passover questions, which
- are quite different, there should be no kosher issue raised by
- beer. Kashrut involves only flesh and dairy products. Since beer
- contains neither, the dietary laws are not involved. On the other
- hand, I would imagine that *no* beer is kosher for Passover, because
- of the yeast. Is there a rabbi in the house?
