- German purity laws dictate that beer can have only 4 ingredients:
- water, hops, malt, and yeast.
-
- Many beers are using isinglass (swim bladder of a sturgeon)
- as a clarifying agent. Others use gelatin (boiled animal bones).
-
- I would like to avoid beers that contain such disgusting substances.
- How can I find out the ingredients of beers?
- How would I contact the breweries?
-
- Thanks,
-
