- Following is a short list of brewpubs in Montreal, unfortunately I don't
- have the exact addresses.
-
- Better, they have a few locations. Passable to Good german food,
- and claim to have their "own" brew. (St Laurent near Mt Royal)
-
- La Cervoise, never been there
-
- Le Cheval Blanc, the first Montreal brewpub. Kind of bare bones,
- and not too far from the Bus terminal, if you know what I mean...
-
- Crocodile Club, upscale/trendy, however the focus is not on the
- beer. I think they only incidently (St Laurent near Rachel)
-
- These are Beer oriented pubs. (lots of selection, etc...)
-
- * Fu^tenbulle Bernard near Park
- * Fu^nanbulle (sp?) St Laurent near Roy
- Alexanders Peel near deMaisoneuve
-
- * recomended
-
- In Montreal, at least while I lived there, the trend was towards several
- Microbreweries selling their wares at regular pubs. Fu^tenbulle is my
- favourite of these pubs, as it has a great selection and very good food.
-
- Microbrew to look for include (but are not limited to):
- St Ambroise, Griffon, Boreal, Belle Guelle, Hopps Brau, La Portneuvoise
-
- New establishments have surely opened since I moved away. Try looking in
- the Yellow Pages (both english and french sections) once you get there.

- Co-incidentally, I'm wearing that T-shirt as I type...
