  27. The problem could be a anywhere... but FIRST of all please do the
  28. following.

  30. Execute the SET command.  What does it report for COMSPEC= ?
  31.  
  32. Make sure that your CONFIG.SYS's line:
  33.  
  34.         shell=c:\mypath\command.com...
  35.  
  36. ...points to the same copy of COMMAND.COM that COMPSPEC= shows.
  37.  
  38. If not the same then either add:
  39.  
  40.         set comspec=c:\mypath\command.com
  41.  
  42. ...to your AUTOEXEC.BAT, or change the entry in your CONFIG.SYS to match
  43. the same "mypath".
