  20. Yes you can if the head (difference between water input and outlet)
  21. are not so great that the flow rate drops too much.  
  22. My guess is that will work.  You can check the flow rate by putting a 
  23. bucket of water at the filter level and another at the tank outlet 
  24. level and time how long it takes to pump a gallon of water.
