- Well, Cu *is* a poison, but one that vertebrates can handle
- (in small quantities). Activated carbon *may* remove it from
- your water (I've heard conflicting claims on this score).
- In general, snails are very hardy creatures - after a few 50%+
- water changes, they should be able to do all right in your
- tank (no guarentees).

- BTW, Cu is hard on plants, too - I've wiped out a tankful of
- algae and duckweed trying to kill snails (the snails survived!).
