  14. I am helping a friend find a place and caterer to host a large party 
  15. (about 125 people). The requirements are:
  16.         1) in the Triangle area (preferably Durham/Chapel Hill
  17.                     but flexible)
  18.         2) will do a "heavy appetizer" afternoon party, either 
  19.             they cater or they allow a caterer to be 
  20.             brought in
  21.         2a) vegetarian friendly (doesn't have to be exclusively veg.
  22.                 but must be able to fix a reasonable 
  23.                 amount of vegetarian food)
  24.         3) On the nicer side, preferably with a bit of charm
  25.  
  26. The date is undetermined but in the next few months (depends upon
  27. finding somewhere to hold this shin-dig). Price is not a big issue,
  28. but does factor in somewhere.

  30. So, any recommendations (or "avoid at all cost" stories) for a 
  31. place or caterer?
