  17. I have played around with a demo version of the JMP package for
  18. the Mac, and I was quite impressed. It is produced by SAS institute, but
  19. is not the same as the SAS package as seen on a variety of other platforms.

  21. JMP is menu driven, the stats appeared to be qood, as did the graphics,
  22. particularly for data exploration perhaps rather than presentation.

  24. I stress that I have done no more than 'play' with a demo version. It was
  25. quite expensive (the main reason I don't actually have a real copy).
