  13. I am seeking help in some studies I am conducting.  I am looking for 
  14. any good sources which offer any sort of explanation on deriving 
  15. a fractal model from a data set (say,ocean heights).  In particular, I
  16. would appreciate any one out there in Austin who has some experience
  17. with this to drop me line.  So far, I haven't found anyone directly
  18. associated with the math or physics departments at UT who work 
  19. with fractal modeling.
