- I'm looking for a database program that keeps track of mechanical parts
- placed in a drawing. It does not have to have sophisticated drawing tools
- as long as it has decent import capabilities (2-D is fine). I would
- be happy with a CAD system with good links to a database, though this
- is overkill for the problem at hand. The program will be used to manage
- parts placed from a library of parts available to the database.
-
- What I'm really looking for is something very like OrCAD, which is a
- schematic capture program, but that juggles mechanical parts instead
- of electronic components.
-
- It must be available for Mac, PC, or Sparc. Does anyone have any ideas?
- Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Please reply by email.
