  12. I'm looking for a database program that keeps track of mechanical parts
  13. placed in a drawing. It does not have to have sophisticated drawing tools
  14. as long as it has decent import capabilities (2-D is fine). I would
  15. be happy with a CAD system with good links to a database, though this
  16. is overkill for the problem at hand. The program will be used to manage
  17. parts placed from a library of parts available to the database.

  19. What I'm really looking for is something very like OrCAD, which is a
  20. schematic capture program, but that juggles mechanical parts instead
  21. of electronic components.

  23. It must be available for Mac, PC, or Sparc. Does anyone have any ideas?
