- Ferrite Toroids and Baluns 15 Dec 92 00:34
- I'm posting these questions for a more technologically astute friend who
- doesn't have Internet access. I hope you can help him, because I don't even
- understand the questions!
-
- 1) Could ferrite toroids by Amidon (FT-82-75) with high permeability
- (5000) be used to build a low pass audio filter with cut-off frequency of
- 3 kHz (-3dB)? Specified resonant circut frequency is 1 kHz - 1 MHz for
- this material.
-
- 2.) What kind of balun is used in professional dipole set-up, for
- listening only? Is it voltage or current 1:1 type?
-
- Cheers, Rob
